Golf instruction is an integral part of the Council Fire Club Member experience. Council Fire Club creates a thriving golf environment of growth and learning based on the fundamentals and teaching philosophies of our professionals. Our private 18-hole golf course, complete with a large practice facility, offers the perfect environment to hone your skills and improve your game. At the Council Fire Club, we offer a variety of Golf Lessons and instruction suited to your specific playing needs and abilities.

Teaching Philosophy
Golf performance at any level and in all areas, can be broken down into three key components: controlling the clubface, the shape of the golf swing, and the motion of the body. I use these components to make the instruction specific and simple to follow and to maintain.
These components are driven by the 3 most important fundamentals of the golf swing.
1) Controlling the low point within a golf swing is critically important to improving ball striking. A player must have the ability to hit the ground in the same place every time and forward of the ball to insure clean contact.
2) In order to enjoy the game to its fullest, a player must have the ability to create enough power and distance.
3) A player must have the ability to match the clubface to the swing path to control the curvature of the ball to keep it in play.
My goal is to work on progression not perfection. With an accomplished competitive career, I have been able to apply all my experience on the course to the lesson tee. The ultimate goal is for my students to play their best and enjoy the game.
